Ohhhh my god. This made me laugh out loud! Damn wasps messing up your apple-eating experience. Wasps are nasty, too! And I totally laughed at the Pink Lady comment. "And now to the stage, please welcome PINK LADY!!" Haha, too funny. I love these cookies! They're happily free of both wasps and strippers :)

I know, right? Who knew that apples could be related to strippers.. until now. ;)

I literally just laughed out loud at that wasp story, which makes me feel bad since I am sure it did not end well for your 7 year old self. But I can't help smile at the thought of you fighting it out with a terrifying wasp all for one slice of apple. :) Though I can't say I love apples on their own, I DO love them in baking, and these sound like delicious cookies that I would fight a bee (not a wasp, but still) for any day.

I didn't get stung (thankfully) but the damn wasp chased me everywhere! I managed to last approx. 28 yrs of my life without being stung until a couple of years ago and by a wasp. And damn right I'd fight a wasp for apple cookies any day of my life... that is while being terrified too!

Thanks so much, Cathleen. I love the combo of the cinnamon, apples, and oats myself too. Different yet divine.

Thankfully my kiddos love fruit but this would be a great way to get them to eat fruit if they wouldn't. Just stuff it in a cookie and presto. Thanks Sally.

Aww thanks so much, Joy. I love the chewy goodness that oats add to a cookie and the apple flavour is subtle and light and mixed in with the spices too is fantastic. :)
