Cupcake Tips and Tricks for Success

  • Use the best quality ingredients.
  • Use room temperature ingredients for smoother mixing and a better texture.
  • Avoid over-mixing the batter to prevent dense cupcakes.
  • Fill the cupcake cases evenly for uniform-sized cupcakes.
  • For a vibrant frosting colour, use gel-based food colouring.

How to Store Vanilla Cupcakes

Store cupcakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will stay fresh and moist for up to 3-4 days.

However, for the best taste and texture, it is recommended to consume them within the first 2 days.

Be sure to seal them properly to prevent them from drying out or absorbing any unwanted flavours from the fridge.

How to Freeze Cupcakes

To freeze frosted cupcakes, place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until firm. Then transfer them to an airtight container or ziplock bag.

To thaw frosted cupcakes, remove them from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for a few hours or overnight.
