  • 115g (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 250g (1 ¼ cups) light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 80ml (⅓ cup) pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250g (2 cups) plain/all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 90g (½ cup) white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

    1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line an 8x8-inch (20x20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
    2. In a mixing bowl, beat the melted butter and light brown sugar until well combined.
