Very cute! If you want to up the Valentine quotient, I have also seen 2 small balls of dough mushed together into a heart shape. That recipe formed a depression for jam, but you don’t have to do that. You could also pat the dough balls into a heart shaped silicone muffin cup, then pop them out onto a cookie sheet; I often do that with shortbread dough to make cute shapes without rolling out the dough.
