Cravendale #EpicStraws

You wouldn’t believe the amount of fun we’ve been having with these ‘strawsome’ Cravendale Epic Straws. I’ve recently participated in a challenge with the kidlets to create some whacky and fun shapes with these straws.

We were sent 2 packs of different straws from Cravendale milk. Have you seen their TV adverts? I loved the older ones where there were cows that stalked a man and the tagline was “Cravendale milk, milk so good the cows want it back” and more recently there’s the Bertrum Thumbcat which is a cat with opposable thumbs! 🙂

I love the two way milk flow that means both of them can drink at the same time. In fact, I was laughing so much because when one of them stopped drinking, the others’ milk flow stopped! They both had to drink at the same time. Both Collette, 9 (L) and Abbi, 8 (R) loved drinking from their creation!

Katrina’s (12) creation was a little different. She decided she wanted to build a car. Well, sorta. The spirals are the wheels and the middle sections are the doors. She did want to create a frame and all that jazz but ya know, this *IS* milk and there’s only so much you can do with straws, and of course a set of lungs!

Overall, I couldn’t quite believe how much fun the Epic Straws were. Of course being the biggest kid in the house (almost), I had to get in on the action. I thought the straws may leak all over the place but they don’t. Impressive and a very creative little set for little imaginations, and big.

I bought some Cravendale today and wondered what the stuff on the side about straws was, so now I know. Think my kids would enjoy these!
