The Exciting News – Revealed! And Other Randomness..

If you remember, I posted about a week and a half ago about some exciting news. Specifically, this post. I was hush hush in my post and gave nothing away as to what the news was! Yes, I am a tease. Well, I’m going to reveal the news (that’s if you haven’t already visited and seen.guessed).

OK, I guess you won’t find it as exciting as me, but I’m excited! I hope you like the new design and find the site easier to navigate n’ all that jazz.

Bedtime Blogging:

I also wanted to show you my quirky new ‘bedtime blogging ritual’ set-up. I do my blog posting from my trusted iMac using MarsEdit. But when I visit blogs to comment that I’m subscribed to, I do it all from my iPad at night, in my bed. Mmm cozy! If you have an iPad (or iPhone, or Mac) and use RSS, check out the Reeder app, it’s the best I’ve found so far and it’s now free!

Liebster Blog Award:

And finally, in other news, I received my first ever blog award from the fantastic blogger, The Cake Chica. Thank you. I’m very honoured!

I don’t speak German. I took it at school but that was now, umm, 14 years ago! *gasp!* And I don’t really remember much of it to be honest! But apparently “Liebster” means dearest, favourites, or beloved and is for bloggers with under 200 followers (on the blogger platform). As my blog is new (started in Dec), I’m well within that range.

I’m still trying to figure whether this is a blessing or a good ol’ punch in the face, hehe! Ice, please!

Here’s my share of some of my favourite blogs with 200 or less followers (I’ve just realised I don’t have all that many subscriptions to blogs with under 200 followers so it was hard to come up with the these 5) The obvious choice would also be The Cake Chica but I don’t give to receive, or vice versa in this case.
